CANCELLATION POLICY

We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you notify us of your cancellation with more than 24 hours notice, we will happily reschedule your appointment. 

For any service, if 24 hours notice is not given for a cancellation or rescheduling a full charge for the service will be applied.This applies to pre-purchased packages - no shows or late cancellations will result in your for fitting your sessions.

SALON

Late Arrivals - We understand life happens, so a 10 minute grace period will be given for late clients. Out of respect for our clients who will come after you, if you are later than 10 minutes you will be considered a “no show” and we will not be able to service you when you arrive. Our cancellation policy will then apply.

Service Satisfaction, Change-of-Mind & Results Disclaimer

We take great care during consultations to ensure we’re aligned on your desired look. Hair services are customized, professional services and are not returnable.

Results Disclaimer
Inspiration photos are used as a reference only. While we aim to match them as closely as possible, final results are influenced by hair texture, natural colour, previous services, and individual features. This applies to both haircut and colour services. By proceeding with your service, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.

Adjustments vs. Change of Mind
If, within 7 days of your appointment, you feel the result does not reflect what was agreed upon during the consultation, please contact us. We’re happy to review and, where appropriate, offer a complimentary adjustment exclusively at the salon discretion.

If you decide after your appointment that you would like a different result than what was originally agreed upon, this is considered a new service. We’re happy to re-quote and book you accordingly.

Exclusions
This policy is void if:

  • Changes have been made at home or by another provider

  • The request is made outside the 7-day window

Hair cannot be returned, and a change of mind after a service has been completed constitutes a new purchase.

Minors: We will gladly service minors aged 14–18 without a parent present. In these cases we assume your teens fully understand and approve the stylist’s recommendations, including how different hair textures and features may affect results (Please refer to the Results policy above). If your teen isn’t fully satisfied, we offer a one-time adjustment within 7 days by the original stylist; however, this is void if changes were made at home or elsewhere.

SPA

If you are late for your appointment your treatment will end when it is scheduled to end as to not delay our next client. Full service charges will apply. 

For expectant mothers, please let us know about your pregnancy at the time of appointment scheduling. We do not perform medi facials or body treatments on expectant mothers as to keep your bundle of joy safe. 

Please arrive to your spa appointment 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, in order to fill out client forms and get prepared for your treatment. 

Our Aestheticians drape towels and sheets discreetly over any area of your body not involved in the treatment, protecting your privacy at all times. If you feel uncomfortable, a bathing suit may be worn during any body treatment to keep you as comfortable as possible.

Small Children and Babes in Arms

MIMADA Spa is a great place to getaway from your everyday life and pamper yourself. To maintain a relaxed atmosphere for all guests, we ask that you leave young children at home.

PACKAGES

Prepaid packages expire 12 months from the purchase date; please purchase only what you can use within a year. Extensions are granted solely at management’s discretion, and unused sessions are non-refundable.

BONUS Gift Cards, Certificates and Vouchers

12 Days of Christmas Bonus Gift Cards, Certificates and Vouchers are valid for redemption, subject to conditions from January 1-March 31, 2026.

Vouchers carry no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Lost, damaged or expired vouchers cannot be reissued.

Limit one voucher per retail product (full-priced only).

Multiple vouchers may be combined towards a spa service of $75+.

Hair services, stylist gratuities, or package purchases are excluded.

Vouchers cannot be applied to discounted services or products.

MIMADA reserves the right to modify redemption rules as needed.
